OpenStudy (iamtheone):

Let x=8, x=8, let xsqrt2=8sqrt2, hence h=>>>>>>? What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so could i just use the Pythagorean Theorem? how are you getting the bottom is 8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8^2 + 8 ^2 = h?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*h^2

OpenStudy (iamtheone):

Because this geometrical shape, a triangle with both angles being 45 degrees has some specific properties in which you need to memorize. If there is a given degree, there must be specific sides if you look back at the previous drawing.....

OpenStudy (iamtheone):

if x=8 and h=xsqrt2, h=?

OpenStudy (iamtheone):

The pythagorean theorm isn't enough for this problem

OpenStudy (iamtheone):

Happy Studying!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well how are you getting the bottom = 8 @IAMTHEONE

OpenStudy (iamtheone):

because both sides are x and the hypotenuse is xsqrt2 according to the triangles properties

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So sqrt of 8^2?

OpenStudy (iamtheone):

h=8sqrt2 man!

Okay thanks
