A particle moves along a straight line with equation of motion s = f(t), where s is measured in meters and t in seconds. Find the speed when t = 5. \[\LARGE f(t) = 100 + 50t − 4.8t^2\]
Differentiate it first.
Then plug in 5 in f'(t) to find the speed.
Actually that gives me the velocity, which I already got, I need the speed..
The speed is the same as the velocity as the particle moves on a straight line.
