in trigonometry
should the arc length's unit be converted to cm ALWAYS?
for example if the given arc length is in foot should it be converted to cm?

i don't think so,
if the question uses feet, stay with feet,
unless it asks you to convert
sometimes feet or centimetres might still be not a great choice, maybe inches or miles or meters, or kilometres would be more appropriate depending on the scale
