How do I write an equation in standard form with integer coefficients for (-4,6) and (2,-2), I want to understand the steps. So far I've gotten that the slope = -4/3, now how do I find the equation?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Now use the point-slope formula for a line with slope \(m\) going through point \((x_0,y_0)\): \[y-y_0 = m(x-x_0)\] Rearrange the result into whatever form you like...

Okay, thank you so much, I'm trying to help my son and that makes sense:)
