People who are "colorblind" have a defect with one or more of their cones. Given this information, what do you think colorblind people actually see when looking at various objects? The true color of objects is shifted depending on which cones are not working. All objects appear to be only black or white. Colorblind people can see any color other than red, green, and blue. Only outlines of objects are visible; the object itself appears translucent.
