In the diagram below, triangle PQR is congruent to triangle STR Complete the statement

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where is the diagram?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1392699372216:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok can you at least find angle PGR?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

PQR*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so first you need to find angle PQR

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1392688823221:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just circled it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because the letter in the middle is the angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now you need to find what's congruent to it in the other triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

S

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no because it says triangle PQR is congruent to triangle STR, then it asked which angle is congruent to angle PQR. so it's the same thing except they changed "triangle" to "angle"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@keke_luvs_u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, it's T?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i think t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes you got it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@gold.shosho why is it T? I want to make sure I get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also, thx @keke_luvs_u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok you can tell which angle is congruent to which by just looking at the letters of the triangles PQR and STR. Each letter is congruent in order with the letter in the other triangle. so the first letter in PQR is congruent to the first letter in STR. That would be <P and <S
