Given a cube with a volume of 27 cm3, what is the volume of a square pyramid that can fit perfectly inside the cube? 3cm 6cm 9cm 12cm

OpenStudy (mrnood):

NOTE- the answers must be cm^3 VOLUME is always measured in 'cubes' You start with a cube 27cm3 - it is easy to find the side of this So - the pyramid has a base = to one side of the cube, and a height = to height of cube the formula fro the volume of a square based pyramid is easy to find (your text, your head, gooogle ...) so you have all you need
