OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@haneenb Is this what you need or no? I'm not really familiar on the subject. ._. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK9980/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know if i'm right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sporophyte gametophyte

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have any of your notes handy? :O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@beccaboo333 :?

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

So those two are what you think? Do you know what each one means ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

me answer is sporophyte gametophyte

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm not sure if im right

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Hold on :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oky

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

sporophyte: (in the life cycle of plants with alternating generations) the asexual and usually diploid phase, producing spores from which the gametophyte arises. It is the dominant form in vascular plants, e.g., the frond of a fern. gametophyte: (in the life cycle of plants with alternating generations) the gamete-producing and usually haploid phase, producing the zygote from which the sporophyte arises. It is the dominant form in bryophytes. ~google However, The plant life cycle alternates between haploid and diploid generations. Embryonic development is seen only in the diploid generation. The embryo, however, is produced by the fusion of gametes, which are formed only by the haploid generation. So understanding the relationship between the two generations is important in the study of plant development. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK9980/ So I'd go with haploid and diploid :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it haploid and diploid

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

I just provided you with all the information and a link to give you more information. ._.

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Read it. You will know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just i wana make sure :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if im right or not

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

If you read the information you will see what is correct. In which the haploid and diploid are.

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):
