if the wheel turns 360º it will go the length of its circumference any idea what its circumference is ?

OpenStudy (phi):

There is a formula to find the circumference of a circle.

I could do this problem but I am having trouble remembering how to find the length of an arc when you have its degree. And the circumference would be 2pi(r)squared

2 pi r^2 is the area of the circle you want C= 2 pi r (or (the same thing) C= pi d where d is the diameter) the trick to figure out the arc is to know that 360º is the whole circumference. If you turned only 180º you would go 180/360 or ½ if you turned 90º you would go 90/360 = ¼ of the circumference or in general, if you turn n degrees you would go n/360 of the way

Right, ive got that. Here i have a crappy drawinghere. This is kind of what im getting at|dw:1392906854324:dw|
