OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 and 4 are right... i dont know how to check is 5 is wrong, sorry!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmale

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

4 is wrong and 5 is wrong

OpenStudy (mathmale):

#5: To find the "complement" of 72 deg., simply subtract 72 deg from 90 deg.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmale which ones are wrong??

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

4 and 5 are wrong

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I haven't said which ones are wrong. I only provided info on how to solve #5 correctly. I'd be glad to comment on any work you share with me (showing how you got your results), but not to check answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

texas can you help on 4 and 5

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

mathmale told you how to do #5. Complementary angles are two angles that add up to 90 degrees. So if 1 angle is 72 deg., then the other angle is 90 - 72. #4. right angles are 90 deg. straight angles are 180 deg. obtuse angles are > 90 (greater then 90) acute angles are < 90 (less then 90) so what do you think is the answer now ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@texaschic101 number 5 is 18. is that right??

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

yes..that is correct. You figure out 4 yet ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

UMM

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

if the angles is 124 degrees, is it bigger then 90 or less then 90 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

acute angles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

acute is smaller then 90...not the right answer...try again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

obtuse

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

correct...124 is bigger then 90

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@texaschic101 can you check 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@texaschic101 can you check 3

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (texaschic101):
