I don't know where to ask this, but it is kind of a chemistry question. How do I make an antilog on a graphing calculator?

OpenStudy (jfraser):

do you want to make the graph of an antilog, or just use the antilog function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the antilog function.

OpenStudy (jfraser):

on most graphing calculators, the antilog function is the 2ND function above the log key. If you find your LOG function button, the antilog is shown as \(10^x\) above it. Hit SHIFT or 2ND to access the antilog function.

thank you I haven't used this calculator much so it is almost unknown territory for me

OpenStudy (jfraser):

you should make sure that you're typing things in correctly, so that you get the answer you should get. The log and antilog functions are inverses, like multiplication and division. If you take any number and multiply it by 5, then immediately divide by 5, you'll get the number you started with. Try taking the log of a random number, then take the antilog of that answer. You should get the original number back.
