A question related to Light, Refraction, & Lenses. Is it accurate to say that the Angle of Incidence + the Angle of any reflected light = 90, in a situation where a Critical Ray is being projected?

OpenStudy (amonoconnor):

Also, if the Angle of refraction = 90 degrees (Critical Ray), then, IS there any light reflected back, and if so, then would the Angle of reflection + the Angle of Incidence/Critical Angle = 90?

This link is to an online diagram of the scenario I am asking about. I know a picture is worth a thousand words, and I'm a rambler, so... Hopefully this helps you faithful OS Saviors! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats a critical ray? .. u mean ray projected such that refracted ray just grazes the surface?
