OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

So probablity would be \[\frac{\text{What you want }}{\text{Total number of possibilities}}\] So what you WANT is the total number of dimes..and what you have ...is all of those coins...so add up all the coins...14 + 10 + 6+ 22 = 52 coins to choose from...and you want just dimes...well how many dimes are there? 10 right? so your probability will be \[\frac{10}{52}\] Andthat can be simplified to...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 5 }{ 26 }\]

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

That's correct :)
