I'm have trouble trying to describe this: Describe the ADP's function within a cell

OpenStudy (realitywillslapyou):

All I need is a push in the right direction!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ADP is adenosine diphosphate--this molecule accepts a phosphate during several intermediate stages of cellular respiration within the mitochondria of cells. The ADP + Pi -> ATP reaction is endergonic (requires energy) ADP is required essentially to create more ATP, which is the energy currency used within a cell for many cell processes. If you need detail, check out cellular respiration vids.
