The equation of line CD is (y−3) = − 2 (x − 4). What is the slope of a line perpendicular to line CD?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This equation is already in point-slope form, (y-y1) = m(x-x1). m is the slope. To find the perpendicular slope, you have to change the sign and flip the numerator and denominator.
