OpenStudy (loganator):

How does the U.S. Constitution ensure that the president does not act outside the rule of law? A: It creates the requirement that the president be chosen by public election. B:It gives congress the ability to remove the president for wrongdoing. C: It creates a Supreme Court to oversee all presidential decisions. D:It gives regular citizens the power of recall elections. I kow it's not C, I think it's D though, thanks.

OpenStudy (kittyjosh):

It is B. It can't be A because the President is not chosen by the public, he is chosen by electors in the electoral college. It is not C because if there is a problem, the president is chosen by the House of Representatives. It is not D because the general public has no power in the impeachment process.

OpenStudy (loganator):

Yes i actually meant to put "I think it's B" So yes I understand why it's B now, thanks for all the help.
