Type of curve of a polar equation? I'm given six polar equations and I'm supposed to give the "type of curve" each equation represents. I know how to graph the curves but I don't know how to answer this question. Can someone help me understand this?

hey, long time no see :p there's a text from whitman college about polar coordinates / parametric equations. https://www.whitman.edu/mathematics/calculus/calculus_10_Polar_Coordinates,_Parametric_Equations.pdf look at the example 10.1.2. it should help.
