Who is considered the most important person in the early spread of Christianity to non-Jews as well as Jews? A. Paul B. Peter C. Pontius Pilate D. Jesus
I would go with Paul as wrote a large portion of the new testament
*As he wrote lol
but Peter was the first Pope, so... probably Peter.
Peter was the first Pope? Popes are catholic
yes, Popes are catholic nowadays, but before 1054 the Christian Church was not divided into catholic and orthodox. In 1054 there was the schism and they divided. Apostle Peter was the first Pope. He went to Rome and promoted Christianity there, and also has written some letters to other ancient cities, to promote it there, too.
Christians believe the most important erson is Christ, and Jews believe in Moses. If one considers the most influential person in the SPREAD of Christianity (as the question asks) then this must surely be Paul who, on his missionary journeys, founded many churches right across the Roman Empire. In addition many of the disciples also spread the message far and wide; traditionally Thomas in India, Philip in Africa and James as far as Spain..
I did not know that. I am still going to go with Paul though. I now that he traveled extensively to non Jewish territories.
it's peter
It is Paul
