I have this project and I have to measure things but I need some help I have no clue where to start......

OpenStudy (abbie):

1. Make a list to identify each object in the room that will be scaled, such as doors, windows, walls, and furniture. Use an appropriately shaped polygon to represent each object. For example, use a rectangle to represent a bed or couch. A minimum of six objects is required. 2. Determine the scale factor you will use and include the units. 3. Complete a chart, like the one below, to organize your data. Show all calculations and include units. Be sure to specify your scale factor.

so I chose to measure the door, window, desk, cabinet, laptop, notebook,

OpenStudy (abbie):

how do I measure them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, let's say we're using your bed. You would first measure your bed. Let's say it was 200 cm by 100 cm. The rectangle you draw could be 2 cm by 1 cm. This would be a scale of 100:1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is of course an idealized situation, but I hope the general idea gets accross.

OpenStudy (abbie):

ok let me show u the chart
