Jacob and Roman are standing next to each other. Jacob, who is one hundred eighty centimeters tall, has a shadow that is two hundred twenty-five centimeters long. If Roman is one hundred fifty-two centimeters tall, approximately how long is his shadow? one hundred seven centimeters one hundred ninety centimeters one hundred ninety-seven centimeters two hundred fifty-three centimeters

OpenStudy (ajanijones):

Its C 197 for Roman because you subtract the first one and get 45 then you add that to Romans.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ajanijones That's correct.

OpenStudy (ajanijones):

So you go like this for Jacob 225-180 = 45 then add the 45 on to Romans.

OpenStudy (ajanijones):

Thank you guys.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AnswerMyQuestions Yes :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok what is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

197, first you subtract the shadows' length to Jacobs length, you get 45, then you add that to Romans' length and you get 45

OpenStudy (ttp):

I'll put it up as a new question :)
