Did you know that jellyfish are the most unusual animals in the sea. They are related to the corals and sea anemones. These three belong to the phylum of animals known as Coelenterata. Most of the jellyfish body is made of a jelly like substations there are so many beautiful jelly fish in the sea such as (Velella velella, Rhizostoma pulmo, Rhopilema nomadica, Thalia democratica, Porpita porpita, Physalia physalis, Phyllorhiza punctata, Pelagia noctiluca) there are so many other but these are just some of the ones that I picked from. Simple muscles on the underside contract the body much like the closing of an umbrella and enable the jellyfish to swim. The tentacles of the jellyfish have stinging cells that produce poisons that paralyze other small animals. Then the tentacles draw them into the mouth of the jellyfish. A network of nerves runs beneath the lining of the umbrella and coordinates the muscles. My opinion on this animal is that they are very dangers animals but they also are very beautiful and if we want to solve any problem with this animals that we should leave there property alone and leave them be so that you don't put your self or others in danger. This one animal effects animals and people around you. I have a conclusion to what we can do we can try and stay as far away as we can from jellyfish and jellyfish homes and there food they are dangers and beautiful so you can look at them from far away we do tend to to step on them and get to close to them if only some people would leave them alone they would leave us alone so I think that if we don't do any thing to them they will not do any thing to us. Michaelae Palmore 2/21/14 i need to see if i did it right i have to check it with this web http://marion.flvs.net/webdav/educator_mjlangartsII_v14/module02/rubrics/02_08_rubric.htm
