k0(k4)(k-6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the numbers are exponents the last one is to the negative sixth power

OpenStudy (phi):

you can use the rule: if multiplying numbers with the *SAME* base, add the exponents. here the base is k, so you can use that rule.

i thought that was it but i wasnt sure if it was add or multiply thanks so much

OpenStudy (phi):

one way to remember is to think about a simple problem x*x is x^2 we can write x as x^1 so x^1 * x^1 = x^2 (so it looks like we add the exponents) or x^2/x is x*x/x = x or x^1 x^2/x^1 is x^1 so it looks like we subtract if we are dividing

thats to much kidd really just substitute your problems
