HELP PLEASE ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The equation of line AB is (y−3) = 5 (x − 4). What is the slope of a line perpendicular to line AB?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry can not help

OpenStudy (radar):

I first would attempt to put that equation into the slope intercept form "y=mx+b"

OpenStudy (radar):

y=5x-20 + 3 y = 5x - 17 The coefficient of x is a 5 The slope of line AB is 5, but that is not what you are looking for. The line that is perpendicular to AB will have a slope that equal to the negative reciprocal of this 5 which is -1/5

Got you !!! Thaaaaaaaaaaaaanks @radar
