Anyone familiar with the Toulmin model?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Forgive me if this isn't the right area to post this thread. I'm having trouble explaining part of my model. I have a general idea, but have a feeling it might be incorrect.

I just need help or someone who can validate if what I have so far is accurate as I usually miss the actual point for the claim, warrant, and ground. I'm analyzing a letter to the editor.

"How E.J. Dionne Jr. [“The right idea for the right,” op-ed, Feb. 17] can argue for a minimum wage of $10.10 is beyond me. It’s clear that $101 an hour would benefit far more workers. Why can’t Mr. Dionne see that if the government forcing employers to pay workers $10.10 is good, then $101 is 10 times better? Go big or go home. " I put so far Claim: It is not good for the government to force employers to pay minimum wage workers more just because it is good for the worker. Ground: (Slippery Slope/ Reductio ad absurdum) If it is good to pay a minimum wage worker $10.10 an hour it is better to pay him $101 an hour. Warrant: The author of the original article is only considering the need of the worker, but not the bottom line of the employer.
