Graph the function y=1/4 tan2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Tan doesn't have an amplitude, so to graph this you need to concern yourself mostly with the period. Tan typically has a period of 90, but this has been compressed by 1/2. Don't think you can sketch it using much else--the 1/4 means it's also compressed vertically, but I wouldn't be able to show that in a sketch myself. ^^

oh and that's only to sketch this--I'd need a graphing calc. to "graph" it..

i sketch it with the TI 84 already just wondering about how to analyze it before sketch, just like period, two adjacent vertical asymptotes :)

Graphing calculator would work but wolfram does a great job too: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=y%3D1%2F4+tan2x

wow wow wow this is just so helpful...thanks man
