I need to discuss the minimum and maximum points on this graph

OpenStudy (dmb1215):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, I attached it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe the minimum is zero and the maximum is nine...but my real question is: in previous questions utilizing this exact same graph, the correct answers were bracketed with an () and not a {}. This made me think, since it is open, it may be a trick question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Am I over thinking this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

excuse me - not an [ ]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is visible from the graph that the minimum is 0 and maximum is 3. Well, there always exists errors. The brackets are used maybe to increase the precision.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, so is the answer a three because values are usually always in the y(f) of the graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or excuse me....maximum values are in the y function of the graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The horizontal line is the x axis and vertical line is the y axis. If you fix this a reference, it is y=f(x). f is the function which is defined in 0<=x<=9.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks
