If I'm graphing sin, and have X, and am now performing (3/4X) does that mean I do the opposite and divide 3/4 by X?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not sure what your question is. Do you mean that you've graphed y=sin(x) and now you want to graph y=sin(3/4x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have to graph \[y=2\sin (\left(\begin{matrix}3 \\ 4\end{matrix}\right)\] having X inside and next to the fraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have x, but now need to perform (3/4X)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, ok. Given \[y=2sin(\frac{3}{4}x)\] The period is \[T=\frac{2\pi}{3/4}\]
