How do you represent the (decimal) integer 50 in, oh, "hexadecimal," otherwise known as base-16?

This is similar to how you solve base 2. Instead of dividing by 2, you simply need to divide by 16 here. 50/16 Q=3 R=2 3/16 Q=0 R=3 So 50 in base 16 is 32 (commonly written as 0x32). You need to remember that numbers above 9 are denoted as alphabets here. So a 10 is an A, 11 is B, and 15 is F.
