MEDAL AND FAN! :] Suppose you are an astronomer, and a child asks you to explain how long it takes light to travel through space. In your own words, answer the child's question. Be sure to mention the speed that light travels in space, and provide a general idea of how long it takes the light from distant stars to reach Earth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol... a child idk.. will this work...? light travels in the space with a speed of 3*10^8km/s in the space. The light will take about some million years to reach the earth from a star other than sun.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3*10^8km/s :P
