hartnn (hartnn):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay haha thanks! can u help with some more?

hartnn (hartnn):

sure

hartnn (hartnn):

correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!

hartnn (hartnn):

wow, you're smart! again correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks so much and was very sure they were correct but just in case lol

hartnn (hartnn):

thats it? or there are more ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

more haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow you're so smart :D, hartnn was right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol so its right?!:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanKS:)

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

Ah a chick that has brains.. ;)

hartnn (hartnn):

i am really not sure about the last one 1st bounce = 8*0.8 = 6.4 2nd bounce = 6.4*0.8 = 5.12 3rd bounce = 5.12*0.8 = 4.096 is that an option, or like 4 feet ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4.1 round it up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that was part of the answers haha

hartnn (hartnn):

oh, ok, 4.1 is there... i though 4th option is 1 feet :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

XD

hartnn (hartnn):

you are \(\huge \color{red}{\checkmark} \ddot \smile \)

hartnn (hartnn):

sure, could u get the common ratio ?

hartnn (hartnn):

yeah, so the common ratio = 1/4 right ??

hartnn (hartnn):

now use the n'th term formula \(\large a_n = a_1 r^{n-1}\)

hartnn (hartnn):

a1 = 1st term = 64 r = 1/4 n=10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sry im back

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i tried that but idk its giving me this weird answer

hartnn (hartnn):

what answer do u get ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so in decimal i get .00024414062 but when i convert its even weirder lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it needs to be in a fraction

hartnn (hartnn):

we can find the answer in fraction form too, 64 (1/4)^9

hartnn (hartnn):

= 64/4^9

hartnn (hartnn):

and 64 is 4^3

hartnn (hartnn):

can you proceed ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok wait...
