What did President Coolidge mean when he said "the chief business of the American people is business"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

He believed, as many Presidents since, that "what's good for company's, corporations, and business, is good for America." The flaw is the idea that America does not necessarily include the citizens of America. Today, we have corporate-socialists shipping our jobs overseas and now, we pay for the decisions of our corporate-socialists (that would be Democrats and Republicans who voted to open markets to the slave markets of India, China, Tiawan, etc) by having a recession (which was really a depression) and having industrial jobs go over to cheaper labor markets. Calvin Coolidge, apparently, was a corporate-socialist.
