last weekend the restraunt sold 16 orders of the single mucho variety and 22 orders of the double mucho. If the restaurant sold $231 worth of beef burritos last weekend, and the single much kind cost $1 less than the double macho, how much did each type of burrito cost?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

a single mucho costs \(s\), so selling 16 of them brings in \(16s\) a double mucho costs \(d\), so selling 22 of them brings in \(22d\) single + double = total of $231 a single costs $1 less than a double, so \(s = d - 1\) You should be able to complete the equations from my description, and solve for the two prices.
