standard form y=-3x+2

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

So let me explain that better

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

You want to switch this equation to standard form? Well heres how :3 The formula for standard form is: Ax + By = C

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

Now the A,B and C part is kinda confuising but basically you need to know that you have to put it into that form.

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

Add 3x to the right side of the equation and because adding 3x to -3x creates 0...we no longer have a 3x there. But when you do something to one side, you have to do it to the other. So add 3x to the left side of the equation

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

You should then have 3x + y = 2

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

What choices do you have in your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

none but i understand now. thanks

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

ok :)
