solve n=4r for r

OpenStudy (ksaimouli):

r=n/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

n/4 = r

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[n/4 =r\]

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

I like how no one showed how to solve it ._. You're solving for r, r is being multiplied by 4 so to undo it you divide both sides by 4 dividing 4r/4 is just r because the 4's cancel out -- 4/4 = 1, 1r = r So then you have n/4 = r or r = n/4
