Plug 8 in for \(r\), what is the value of \(8^2{\pi}\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

64

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, \(8^2=64\) but don't forget about the \(\pi\). You just need to round the value of \(64\pi\) appropriately now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

200.96

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Were you given a particular value of \(\pi\) to use? I got a slightly different answer so I'm assuming you might have just used \(3.14\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i used

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Unless you were specifically told to just use 3.14 you should probably use the \(\pi\) button on your calculator to get a more accurate answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i didnt get anything

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was right
