Will Fan And Medal!! How did the majority of Supreme Court justices in the case of Plessy v. Ferguson interpret the 14th Amendment? A. Blacks are not citizens and therefore have no legal protection. B. All citizens are equal under the law and therefore segregation is illegal. C. Separate but equal facilities only apply to white citizens, not blacks. D. Racial segregation is constitutional if the facilities are the same for everyone.

For this I would answer D. Pleasy Vs Ferguson's end result was seperate but equal schools, and D. represents that the best.

Later, The Brown Vs. Board of education case would overturn this ruling stating that "In the field of Public Education the doctrine of "seperate but equal" has no place"
