y2-y1 over x1-x2
y1-y2 over x1-x2
rise over run

The common error is failing to take the points in the same order for x as you do for y.

Okay so there are 3 options left I was thinking A but Im not sure
OpenStudy (anonymous):
B will give you the incorrect slope.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
O so the answer is B
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes :)
OpenStudy (whpalmer4):
Yes, B is the correct answer, and the incorrect slope.
You can choose either point to be \((x_1,y_1)\) — the problem is that often people switch the order between the time they do the numerator of the fraction and the denominator.
