HELP ME PLEASE, I will give a medal to whomever can help me get to the answer!!! -5 + 2x^2 = -6x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you need to do ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find which expression gives the solutions of that problem!! Hold on Ill give you the solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's fine rearranging this expression into standard form will give you: \(6x + 2x^2-5 = 0\) a=6, b=2, c=-5 use the quadratic formula to solve the solution/zeros of this expression: \[x=\frac{ -b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} }{ 2a }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Chibi_Robo3 can you help me with another problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2x^{2} - x + 10 = 0\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are the approximate solutions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do the same method as you did before, use the quadratic formula in this case you are given : a=2 b= -1 c=10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, thanks!! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait! i think for the first one i made a mistake! sorry for the first one, it should be a=2 , b=6 sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh thank you for the info, I was kinda wondering what was wrong with my answer!!! :D
