Why shouldn't the word about be divided by a hyphen? A. Never divide a one-syllable word. B. Do not divide a word after the first letter or before the last letter.
Well I ha-ven't actually studied the rules of English hyphenation, but the German hyphenation instead, so I may not be able to help you :P
i thnk a
Break words at morpheme boundaries (inter-face). Break words between doubled consonants (bat-tle). Never separate an English digraph (e.g., th, ch, sh, ph, gh, ng, qu) when pronounced as a single unit (au-thor but out-house). Never break a word before a string of consonants that cannot begin a word in English (jinx-ing and not jin-xing). Never break a word after a short vowel in an accented syllable (rap-id but stu-pid).
And A can't be true because a.bout has two syllables
Therefore it should be B
