how do you graph: y=5

OpenStudy (tfht):

well if you set up slope intercept form, you would get y=0x+5. so do you know how to graph that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just draw a horizontal line at 5.

OpenStudy (tfht):

yup

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

If you think of the set of points made out of y=5, they all have a y-coordinate of 5. (x, 5) If you never change the y-value and choose any x-value, you will always get points on y=5: (0, 5) (-2, 5) (112, 5) You can plot all these points and create that line as well. :)

thank you!!!1
