NEED HELP WITH THIS!!!

Given the function f(x) = log3(x + 4), find the value of f−1(3).

Well f-1 isnt it I hate f-1 however, basically they ask you to do this y = log3(x+4) and make x the subject. 3^y = x+4 hence 3^y-4 = x now switch the x and y, you get (3^x) - 4 = f(x) Now plug the value, 3 so you ahve 27-4 = 23 Im doing this inverse thing for logs for the first time so i might be wrong but im pretty confident about it haha

Haha... alwayss remember inverse functions want you to make x the subject in any way possible, and then switch the x and y :P
