And if you don't want to use a calculator, you can do it the way you were supposed to learn it. \[4715\times10^{-2}\] When it is 10 with a negative exponent, you will move the decimal to the left the amount of times as the number of the exponent. If it is a positive exponent, you will move it to the right the amount of times as the number of the exponent. |dw:1395451581680:dw|^ that would be how you would move the decimal for this problem.
