help with problem on law of sines

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know for sure that there are 2 possible answers

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Apply the sine rule a/sin A=b/sin B=c/sin C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do but I keep messing up some how, I think it might be the rounding.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Can you show your work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's a lot, 37.7/sinA = 31.5/sin34^degree sign24' ANGLE A=37.7xsin34^degreesign24'/31.5 sin inverse =42.54 equals the angle of A 180-42.54=137.46 A'

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Why did you take 180-sin inverse angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

REFERENCE ANGLE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's okay i have to go, it's due already.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

If you get A, you can find and angle C as C=180-A-B

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Then you can find c again using sine rule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's just the primes that get me messed up: A' B' C'

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Sorry I dont understand what A' B' C' are.
