OpenStudy (anonymous):

wat are we working on? a poem quest?

OpenStudy (djcall11):

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance. The waves beside them danced; but they Out-did the sparkling waves in glee: A poet could not but be gay, In such a jocund company: I gazed—and gazed—but little thought What wealth the show to me had brought: For oft, when on my couch I lie In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye Which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils. Select a stanza from this poem and explain the tone Wordsworth creates in the stanza. Give your explanation in at least one paragraph of three to five sentences. Use examples from the stanza to support your observations. Use proper spelling and grammar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I like first stanza because it said in great details that something reminds him the Milky Way. I think he talks about daffodils because of third stanza. I think his tone is amused by the daffodils and he never see one like it before. There are so many flowers that look like never ending like Milky Way. His tone is like glee and it seems a happy poem.

what about this

OpenStudy (djcall11):

List two of the ten synonyms you defined from "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" and their definitions. For each word, include one sentence describing why you believe William Wordsworth did not choose to include it in his poem. Use proper spelling and grammar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did you list two synonyms?

OpenStudy (djcall11):

sorry this is literally these question I've been stuck on in flvs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I chose sprightly which means lively and the synonym is cheerful. I think the poet didn't wrote this word because it seems so dull like tossing their heads in cheerful dance. Readers like us need to visual the poem and imagine what he describes in the garden.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (djcall11):

thank you very much for doing this for me but i have the same question two times

OpenStudy (anonymous):
