OpenStudy (blake57roger):

What is the radius of of a circle with a circumference of 32π yd?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Circumference of a circle = \(\large \pi \times d\) If we know the circumference to be 32pi that means 32 is our D (Diameter) What do we know about diameter? Well \(\large \text{Diameter} = 2r\) where 'r' is the radius...so it looks like radius is half the diameter...so what is our radius?

OpenStudy (blake57roger):

1

OpenStudy (blake57roger):

what wrong anwser

OpenStudy (blake57roger):

wait

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Like i said..the radius is half the diameter...if we know the diameter is 32...what is half of that
