Find the measure of angle x. Round your answer to the nearest hundredth. (please type the numerical answer only)
You would have to end up using the trig identities to solve this mainly the sin; cos; and tan identities and what they mean with a triangle.
So do I use all three?
Which angle are you trying to find? The one with that has the x and the zero right above it?
X
I did sin, and got 8/17 which equals .47 but i need help on the next part
@juanjohnguy
Ok that seems to be correct then
But i dont know how to get it into degree form
Ah I see what you are asking. One sec while I explain
ok!
So generally when we have something like what you have right now where we want to find the angle we remember using the trig identities sine, cosine, and tangent. You are using the sin which is actually.......sin(theta) = opposite/hypoteneus
