OpenStudy (abb0t):

Well, I think if I remember Ivan Pavlov worked with classical conditioning, and watson said "learning should be explained without the mental process" and mary cover jones did the little peter experiment, didnt she?

OpenStudy (david.):

Yes

OpenStudy (abb0t):

that means, pavlov = classical conditioning, mary = phobias, and watson = A.

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

What about part B?

OpenStudy (david.):

Yeah I was more confused about part B

OpenStudy (abb0t):

the unconditioned stimulus is something that you feel automatically. I think the sticker is both the unconditioned and conditioned stimulus.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

because the sticker once made him happy, but now, the visit to the doctor has conditioned him, because when he goes to the doctors, he gets a shot, then he recieves a sticker.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

no, wait, unconditioned is the shot

OpenStudy (abb0t):

conditioned is the sticker.

OpenStudy (david.):

Yeah I thought so, this part is confusing and thank you abbot

OpenStudy (david.):

LOL

OpenStudy (david.):

So both is Shot @abb0t

OpenStudy (abb0t):

the screaming or crying or whatever he does is the unconditioned/conditioned response.

OpenStudy (david.):

oh okay, i get it
