@leozap1 is correct

OpenStudy (leozap1):

All you do is take 24,000 and divide it by 1500 and you get 16. It tells you there is 2 out of 15 so you multiply it by 2 and get 32.|dw:1396034802548:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A large bin of mixed nuts contains peanuts, cashews, almonds, and walnuts. Sheila scoops out a bowl full of nuts and counts how many of each type she has: 17 peanuts, 9 cashews, 12 almonds, and 10 walnuts. Armando scoops out a bowl of 32 nuts. About how many should he expect to be cashews? A. 5 B. 6 C. 9 D. 18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

brb

OpenStudy (leozap1):

Ok so there are 48 nuts total, out of the total number of nuts 9 are cashews. So, 9/48 = 5.333 (goes on for ever). You should round that to 5 not 6 so it would be A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (leozap1):

The best way to know how to round a number is to remember this, 5 and above kick it up, 4 and below keep it the same.
