Hey everyone! I need some help with these problems in my English test Type the first word followed by a space and last word of the adjective clause. There once was a man whom a princess loved. I had typed in "whom a princess" because that seemed like the noun clause, right? my school says its not. a little help please? XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mossyfish and @HelpBlahBlahBlah, any suggestiongs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Type the first word followed by a space and last word". So, you only need the first and last words :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well that's what i did. i pur in " whom princess" and it didn't accept it as a valid answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whom princes what, though? So the clause is "whom a princess loved". This means that the first and last words are "whom loved"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh lol. well that explains it. can i ask for help with a couple more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks btw XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here's my next one. Type the first word followed by a space and last word of the adjective clause. The people who live here are planning to move.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What modifies "people"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"who live here"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ugh so confused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aaronq sorry to bother you but if you can help at all i would appreciate it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, because who are the people? They're the people who live here

OpenStudy (aaronq):

sorry, I don't remember what any of these terms mean :S

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks! now the next one is Type the first word followed by a space and last word of the adjective clause. It is hard to imagine a time that has been without problems.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
