terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

^that symbol also means 'greater than or equal to'

zepdrix (zepdrix):

They throw these weird words at you sometimes. You need to get comfortable with what they mean: no more than -> less than or equal to more than -> greater than

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

when you say "y is no more than -8", you are also saying "y is at most -8" so -8 is the largest you can go. The value of y could be -8, but it cannot be any larger. Think of this as the "ceiling" so to speak.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so that means \[\Large y \le -8\] since this allows y to be either -8 or values smaller than -8 (but not allow y to be larger than -8)
